RETREAT
TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions apply to all retreats organised by KG Retreats / Katie Godfrey Coaching (“the Company”).
By purchasing, booking, or attending a retreat organised by the Company, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
- Retreat Overview
1.1 The retreats organised by the Company are designed for entrepreneurs and business owners seeking business strategy, education, networking, and personal development.
1.2 Each retreat may include a combination of:
- Business coaching sessions
- Workshops and strategy sessions
- Guest speakers or experts
- Networking opportunities
- Group meals or social activities
The exact inclusions for each retreat will be specified on the retreat sales page.
1.3 Unless explicitly stated otherwise, retreat pricing does not include:
- Flights
- Accommodation
- Travel insurance
- Airport transfers
- Personal expenses
Participants are responsible for organising their own travel arrangements.
1.4 The Company reserves the right to adjust retreat schedules, speakers, activities, or venues where necessary.
- Payment Terms
2.1 A place on the retreat is only secured once payment has been received.
2.2 Payment options may include:
- Full payment
- Payment plans (where offered)
2.3 If a payment plan is selected, participants agree to complete all scheduled payments in full.
Failure to complete payments may result in removal from the retreat without refund.
2.4 Early bird pricing or promotional offers may be available for a limited time and may be withdrawn at the Company’s discretion.
- Cancellation & Refund Policy
3.1 All retreat payments are non-refundable.
3.2 If a participant is unable to attend the retreat for any reason, the Company may, at its sole discretion:
- Allow the participant to transfer their place to another person; or
- Offer the option to attend a future retreat.
3.3 The Company reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel a retreat due to circumstances beyond its control including but not limited to:
- Illness
- Travel restrictions
- Venue issues
- Government regulations
- Natural disasters
- Force majeure events
- War
3.4 If the retreat is rescheduled, participants will be offered a place at the new retreat date.
3.5 The Company will not be responsible for any costs incurred by participants including flights, accommodation, or travel arrangements.
Participants are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance.
- Travel, Insurance & Visa Requirements
4.1 Participants are responsible for organising their own:
- Travel arrangements
- Accommodation
- Travel insurance
- Visa requirements
4.2 Participants must ensure they meet all entry requirements for the United Arab Emirates or the country where the retreat is held.
4.3 The Company accepts no responsibility if a participant is unable to attend due to:
- Visa refusal
- Travel disruption
- Personal circumstances
- Illness or injury
4.4 Participants must obtain appropriate travel and medical insurance covering:
- Trip cancellation
- Medical expenses
- Travel disruption
- Lost baggage
- Personal liability
Failure to obtain adequate insurance is at the participant’s own risk.
- Health & Safety
5.1 Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally able to attend the retreat.
5.2 Any medical conditions, dietary requirements, or allergies should be communicated to the Company in advance of the retreat.
5.3 Participants must follow all health and safety instructions provided by the Company and the retreat venue.
5.4 The Company accepts no liability for illness, injury, or accidents occurring during the retreat except where caused by proven negligence.
- Participant Behaviour
6.1 All participants are expected to behave respectfully toward other guests, speakers, venue staff, and organisers.
6.2 The Company has a zero tolerance policy for bullying, discrimination, harassment, racism, or inappropriate behaviour.
6.3 The Company reserves the right to remove any participant from the retreat without refund if their behaviour is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.
6.4 Participants must comply with all local laws and regulations in the country where the retreat takes place.
- Photography & Media Consent
7.1 During retreats, photographs and video recordings may be taken by the Company.
7.2 By attending a retreat, participants grant permission for their image, likeness, and voice to be used in:
- Marketing materials
- Social media content
- Educational content
- Promotional materials for future retreats
7.3 These materials may be edited, reproduced, and distributed without time or geographic limitations.
7.4 Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings must notify the Company in writing before the retreat.
- Confidentiality
8.1 Retreats may involve the sharing of personal or business information among participants.
8.2 All participants agree to respect the confidentiality of others and not disclose private information shared during retreat sessions.
8.3 The Company cannot guarantee that all participants will maintain confidentiality, and participants should exercise discretion when sharing sensitive information.
- Intellectual Property
9.1 All retreat materials, training content, presentations, and frameworks provided by the Company remain the intellectual property of the Company.
9.2 Participants may use retreat materials for their personal business development only.
9.3 Participants may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or share retreat materials with third parties without written permission from the Company.
- Liability
10.1 The Company will not be responsible for:
- Travel disruption
- Loss or theft of personal belongings
- Personal injury outside of the Company’s control
- Actions of other retreat participants
10.2 Participants accept full responsibility for their own safety, health, and personal belongings during the retreat.
10.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted under applicable law.
- Data Protection
11.1 Personal information collected during retreat registration will be handled in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy:

- Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from events beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Pandemics
- Government restrictions
- Travel bans
- Venue closures
- Acts of God
- War
- Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
