Where it all started
Katie didn’t begin her career with qualifications, contacts, or a clear path laid out.
She left school at 13 after experiencing bullying and zero qualifications but with a strong work ethic and a determination to build something better.
At 19, she opened her first salon with no clients, no following, and very little support.
Within a short space of time, she found herself over £50,000 in debt, learning first-hand that being good at a service is very different from running a business.
Those early years were challenging and Katie was close to bankruptcy but they became the foundation for everything Katie teaches today.
THE RIGHT BALANCE
Building, scaling, and real-life growth
Over the next 17 years, Katie went on to build and scale multiple award-winning salons, academies & a product range that eventually grew the business into a million-pound franchise brand.
At the height of scaling the franchise, Katie was also navigating life as a single mum, running fast-growing businesses while raising her children.
This period shaped her philosophy around business more than anything else.
She saw clearly that:
- Growth without structure creates pressure
- Success without support leads to burnout
- Businesses that rely too heavily on the owner eventually become unsustainable
It was during this time that Katie learned how to step back from day-to-day work and build businesses that could grow without everything depending on her.
EXPERIENCE BACKED BY QUALIFICATION
As her work evolved, she went on to gain qualifications in teaching, life coaching, and business strategy, ensuring her work was not only practical and experience-led, but also professionally recognised and grounded.
Today, her approach blends lived experience with qualifications. Practical, structured, and designed to work in the real world. But also a real heart led business at the forefront of everything.

Katie now runs her businesses around her children and her life, not the other way around, while being based in Dubai.
That lived experience sits at the heart of her work.
